Birth Pool Rental

Create a Calm, Comfortable Space for Labour & Birth | $250 CAD

Prepare your birth space with comfort and intention. Our Birth Pool Rental gives families planning a home birth or water birth the opportunity to incorporate warm-water comfort and hydrotherapy into their labour experience.

Your pool can be reserved ahead of your estimated due date, giving you time to have everything prepared before labour begins.

Your $250 Rental Includes

• Birth pool
• Air pump for inflation
• Setup and take-down instructions
• Guidance for filling, maintaining and emptying the pool
• Education on preparing your home and birth space
• Scheduled pickup and return
• Support incorporating the pool into your birth preparation when paired with Magnetic Creatives Birth Doula Support

Single-use sanitary supplies, including the pool liner and other personal-use accessories, are not reused between families and may be purchased separately as required.

Security Deposit

A $150 refundable security deposit is required in addition to the $250 rental fee.

The security deposit will be returned after the pool and all reusable equipment have been returned on time, clean, dry and in good working condition.

If equipment is missing, damaged beyond normal wear, excessively soiled or returned in a condition requiring additional cleaning or replacement, the applicable cost may be deducted from the security deposit. If replacement costs exceed the deposit, the renter is responsible for the remaining balance.

Rental Period & Return

Your rental dates will be confirmed at the time of booking based on your estimated due date and birth plan.

The pool must be returned by the agreed-upon return date so it can be properly inspected and prepared for the next family.

Late returns are subject to a $25-per-day late fee unless an extension has been approved by Magnetic Creatives in advance.

We understand that babies don't always follow their due dates. If your pregnancy continues beyond your expected rental period, please contact us before your scheduled return date. Extensions are subject to availability and will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

Cleaning & Sanitation

A new disposable liner must be used for every rental. Renters should never use the reusable pool itself without the appropriate liner.

After use, the pool must be completely emptied, wiped down as instructed and fully dried before being packed away. Please do not use harsh chemicals or cleaning products unless specifically instructed.

Disposable liners, hoses and other single-use items should not be returned.

Rental Terms

By renting the birth pool, the client agrees to:

• Use the pool only for its intended purpose.
• Follow all provided setup, use, cleaning and storage instructions.
• Keep the pool away from sharp objects, pets, excessive heat and anything that could puncture or damage it.
• Never leave children unattended in or around a filled pool.
• Return all reusable equipment supplied with the rental.
• Notify Magnetic Creatives promptly of any damage, missing equipment or problems with the pool.
• Obtain approval before extending the rental period.
